Jason MacNeil

Jason MacNeil was essentially raised at the race track. Jason had his first opportunity behind the wheel in 1995 when he took his family owned Chevrolet Monza for some test passes during a local racing event. He immediately fell in love with the sport and it has been his passion ever since. He passed on his love for the sport to his two children who are both very involved in drag racing. Along the way, he earned a Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma from Cape Breton University and a Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Certificate as well as being a volunteer fire fighter.

MacNeil has earned a reputation as one of the top sportsman competitors

in the area by dominating the highly competitive ADRA bracket scene for over a decade. He routinely races locally as well as events in Ontario, Quebec and the Eastern United States.

In recent years, MacNeil has found a home in the Super Comp and Super Street categories of the NHRA with his two race machines as well as dabbling in the Bike class. He has enjoyed great success, earning several NHRA National Open wins.
